Clear your calendar folks! You thought you had to wait to November to get your Asian film fix? We here at Reel Asian are cooking up something special for May 23-25.
Reel Asian is mounting a weekend showcase of film screenings on the York University campus as part of the Asian Heritage Month Festival put on by Asian Heritage Month-CFACI. We got a program of screenings and panels that includes both encore presentations and new work that you won't want to miss.
Oh, did I mention, ALL SCREENINGS ARE FREE!!!!!! That's right. So round up your friends and fellow Asian film lovers and join us at York. Oh, and as a former York Student, I will let you in on a secret. (The opening film is playing in the brand new Accolade theatre. The theatre is equipped with a DLP Christie Projector. Christie projectors boasts one of the brightest bulbs in the industry.)
