On May 3rd, a cyclone hit Myanmar killing over 100,000 people. Myanmar is in desperate need for help from the global community.
On May 12th, a 7.9 earthquake hit the Sichuan region of China. The Chinese government has reported the death toll at 50,000, but my guess as the salvage and rescue operations continue, we're likely to see a lot more fatalities.
